Job Summary
Lead your team as a multi-unit Area Manager serving as Store Manager for your home location and supervising several nearby stores. Drive sales, optimize customer service, and execute store-level event strategies to achieve KPIs while recruiting top performers and managing succession planning. Provide expert beauty advice, conduct product demonstrations, and lead in-store workshops to enhance the client experience. Manage inventory, support scheduling, and collect customer feedback to inform continuous improvement. This full-time role requires weekly travel between locations, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and proficiency in retail operations. You will report to the District Manager and serve as a key leader in Bluemercury's client-first service model.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of retail management experience
- Advanced authority and expertise in successful retail team leadership
- Ability to efficiently travel between locations on a weekly basis
- Time management excellence to manage competing priorities, teams, and locations
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department
- Prolonged exposure to fragrance and home fragrance products
- Frequent use of computers, handheld electronic equipment and cash registers
- Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25lbs
- Use of public transportation or driving to multiple locations
