Job Summary

Lead strategy implementation and business growth for Arcadis' Tennessee and Alabama water business, coordinating with Client Account Leads, Project Managers, and Practice Directors to execute a healthy project backlog. Oversee operational performance to achieve revenue, profit, and quality standards while managing hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance reviews for a high-performing team. Actively engage with local municipalities to expand business development opportunities and negotiate critical issues with clients, potential teaming partners, and subconsultants. Travel up to 30% for project site visits, safety audits, and leadership meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • P.E. License or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Strong project management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes
  • Strong people management and mentoring skills
  • Excellent technical engineering skills with clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Master's in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related professional degree such as Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Administration
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 20 years' experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • P.E. License or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Strong project management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes
