Job Summary
Oversee the technical services for a defined area (typically 10–25 clinics; 7–15 supervisors/technicians) including supervision of water treatment and dialysis equipment, asset management, regulatory compliance, and safety. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Education, manage area financial metrics, data integrity (PeopleSoft, Kronos, service databases), and drive process improvements. Responsible for staffing (recruiting/hiring), training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to policy, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across the area. Coordinate with Directors and Project Managers on DeNovos, relocations, and renovations, support during emergencies, and maintain vendor service agreements; ensure proper documentation, equipment installation/validation, and ongoing operational readiness of technical systems. Requires high school diploma or GED (AA degree preferred), relevant certifications, supervisory experience, valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, ability to train staff, and willingness to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- AA degree in electronics/biomedical technology or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of FMCNA Biomedical Technician Technical Certification Program within first 24 months
- Nephrology/biomedical certifications within 24 months preferred (BONENT/CHT/NNCO/CBNT/CBET/WQA/AAMI certifications)
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Strong communication and English proficiency
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
- Overnight travel may be required
