Job Summary
Lead safety initiatives, manage P&L, and oversee a staff of 75-150 field employees across several hundred square miles. Enforce safe work practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and investigate accidents to prevent exposures. Develop and support 3-5 direct supervisors while conducting site orientations and ongoing training. Audit asset usage, forecast staffing needs, and address customer service issues promptly. Maintain traffic control credentials and adhere to collective bargaining agreements. Travel frequently, including overnight trips, and work in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of management experience
- Must adhere to and promote safe workplace practices
- Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record void of suspension or revocation
- Expect a 40+ hour work week, occasional weekends, and holidays
- Position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving vehicles, and occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites
- Position may lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds
- If necessary, in the field, stand for long periods and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts pushes, pulls, or carries objects
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Process Improvement – Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma preferred
- The proactive approach to brand development
- Building strong customer relationships
- Ability to develop and execute business plans
