Job Summary
Oversee operations of several multifamily housing communities, including supervising on-site personnel across leasing, maintenance, and administrative functions. Responsible for personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial management, and risk management; develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans; monitor vendor invoices and deposits, and ensure timely reporting and closeouts. Lead leasing activities, resident relations, retention programs, and customer service, while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant housing programs. Travel 25-50% of time for property visits, training, and conferences. Preferred CAM or ARM certification; experience with LIHTC, HUD programs, and Fair Housing Laws; strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills, plus ability to use on-site software.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Experience with affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs (Section 8 etc.)
