Job Summary
Area Maintenance Technicians are responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Essential duties include general and preventative maintenance, safety, resident inspections, completing work orders, preparing units for new occupancy, grounds-keeping, and assisting with property turnover. Education/experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience; HVAC certification is preferred. Physical duties include lifting up to 25 pounds and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, climbing stairs, and other mobility. Proficiency in maintaining property cleanliness and appeal and supporting various maintenance tasks across The Nest at 4955 and Plato's Lofts at Randall are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience required
- 2+ years preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
