Job Summary
Travel-based Area Leasing Manager role across Florida supporting new property developments and lease-up operations. Responsible for leading lease-up and stabilization, coordinating with on-site teams, corporate departments, and external partners, overseeing leasing office setup, vendor coordination, move-in readiness, and occupancy goals. Drives leasing and marketing efforts to achieve occupancy while ensuring HUD/LIHTC and affordable housing regulatory compliance. Manages resident communications, issues resolution, staff supervision, and collaboration with Human Resources on employee relations. Requires strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; proficiency with property management software (RealPage, OneSite) and Microsoft Office; and the ability to work with diverse populations. Must have a professional, service-oriented demeanor; travel across locations in Florida; and maintain compliance with housing regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with LIHTC and affordable housing programs, including new property lease-ups and transition from construction to full operations
- Experience managing occupancy goals, leasing strategies, and property marketing initiatives
- HCCP certification required
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws
