Job Summary
Area Intake Coordinator – Clinical role covering weekends and some weekdays, supporting admissions coordination for multiple skilled nursing communities in Iowa. Responsibilities include coordinating admissions to facilities in alignment with census projections, reviewing potential referrals, and assessing for each building. Requires active RN license, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care, familiarity with hospital referral systems and EMR, and strong customer service skills. Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid Insurance
- Point Click Care CRM knowledge – preferred
- Knowledge of insurance portals and authorization guidelines
- Knowledge of hospital referral systems and electronic medical records
- Strong customer service skills
