Job Summary
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across assigned distribution centers to ensure operational objectives are met. Provide project management leadership for Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and enhance user functionality through cost-benefit analysis. Partner with local DC leadership to identify inefficiencies, lead cross-functional teams, and manage large-scale projects related to facility planning and labor management systems. Support business development by offering operational expertise to shape solutions for new opportunities. Ensure consistent use of best practices and oversee training for data analysts in WMS configuration. Collaborate with the LMS Manager to uncover performance gaps and promote adoption of improved practices. This remote role supports the Eastern Region, requiring Central or Eastern time zone availability and up to 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Analysis, Logistics, or equivalent experience
- 5–7 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Operations/Business Analyst, or Consultant
- Distribution center or fulfillment experience
- Super-user knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and understanding of WMS/LMS system interfaces
- Experience with Easy Metrics LMS or a comparable labor management system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and development of alternative solutions
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be in Central or Eastern time zones
- Must be within easy commuting distance from a major airport
