Job Summary
Lead HR initiatives across 56 locations and ~1700 associates in transportation; act as business partner to operations; manage talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, associate relations; lead investigations; union negotiations; ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, FCRA, EEO, FLSA; travel up to 50%; direct reports include 3 Field HR Managers; role based in Duluth, GA or Plainfield, IN or Ontario, CA with openness to other markets for the right candidate; drive organizational effectiveness through talent management, compliance, and labor relations while aligning with company values and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (not specified in posting)
- 5+ years in HR leadership roles preferred
- experience supporting multi-location operations
- ability to travel up to 50%
- strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FCRA, EEO, FLSA)
- leadership development and succession planning experience
