Area Human Resources Director-Field

Lead the overall operation of the Human Resources Department for 10-18 properties, acting as a trusted advisor to property leadership and a strategy coach on people culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by conducting periodic audits of employee files, termination records, and HR policies. Train managers on performance coaching, disciplinary actions, and key policies including non-harassment and discrimination standards. Oversee the property response to unemployment claims, manage the performance appraisal process, and ensure merit increases are processed correctly. Participate in interviewing and hiring for leadership team members while establishing FLSA practices and escalating position classification changes. Utilize an open-door policy to resolve associate conflicts, monitor workplace satisfaction, and support retention efforts through data analysis and culture-building events.
