Job Summary
Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and efficiently by retrieving and compiling medical records from EMR systems. Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling all protected health information, pull and generate reports as needed, and perform administrative functions related to ROI processing. Maintain organized documentation and tracking of requests while communicating effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and requestors. Provide coverage support when onsite staff are out. Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST | $15—$18.32 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to commute between locations as needed
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
- Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
