Area Head of Direct Transport Sales (DTS)

Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing Direct Transport Sales organization to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets across transport and logistics offerings. Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow market share and product penetration, drive utilization, and translate market insights into actionable sales campaigns. Partner with Sales Finance to set targets and incentives, collaborate with Capacity and Campaign Management teams to formalize initiatives, and champion customer-centric improvements (e.g., satisfaction and NPS). Build scalable leadership across the regional sales team, coach Direct Transport Sales Representatives, and foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable commercial growth.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience within sales, commercial management, logistics, transportation, or related industries
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and commercial targets
- Ability to lead and develop high performing sales teams
- Deep understanding of customer segments, market dynamics, and commercial strategy
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across functions and levels
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into commercial actions
- Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with regional and global stakeholders preferred
