Job Summary
Own the relationships with customers for truck sales, service, and parts; lead the recruitment and retention of top talent to drive revenue growth in parts, service, and vehicle sales; maintain interaction with sales leadership and provide operational support to retain and grow the Region’s revenue base; execute upon and correct any quality assurance issues regarding service delivery, customer service and day to day operations of dealerships in designated region according to the company’s policies and procedures; improve the operational and administrative functions and drive consistency in the assigned Region; leverage extensive experience, expertise, and judgement to plan and accomplish goals; interact with functional heads and Central Support Office; develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives; lead, mentor, and manage a team of dealership managers and staff; monitor financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, KPI’s, and financial reporting; optimize service department workflow, manage repair standards, pricing, and compliance with safety and OEM standards; oversee customer service standards to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention; implement effective marketing and sales strategies to enhance dealership visibility and attract new customers; ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders; analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement; foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the dealership.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- four-year degree is preferred
- Five years management experience; multi-site commercial vehicle dealerships or similar business structure
- Demonstrated success leading commercial truck dealerships, heavy equipment dealerships, transportation businesses, or comparable multi-location operations
- Financial acumen to include budgeting and forecasting
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across sales, service, parts, finance, and support functions
- Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze complex operational and financial data
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to travel up to 50% to other locations in the dealership network
- Employment may be contingent upon successful drug test, MVR, and references
