Job Summary
Take ownership of Prime Advantage's day-to-day presence in the Santa Maria area by establishing strong, reliable services for new clients and building relationships with families and community partners. Work directly with individuals to support community integration, skill development, and personal goals while recruiting, onboarding, and coaching Direct Support Professionals. Monitor attendance, documentation, and service quality to ensure consistent delivery, stepping in to solve problems as the operation grows. This hands-on role involves evenings, weekends, and unexpected coverage to support the expansion of our Santa Maria territory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable transportation and automobile insurance
- Ability to travel throughout Santa Maria and surrounding communities
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use mobile apps, email and digital documentation systems
- Willingness to provide direct client support when needed
- Flexible when circumstances require evenings, weekends or unexpected coverage
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in human services, developmental disability services, Supported Living Services, Independent Living Services, residential services, behavioral services or a related field
- Previous supervisory, lead staff or management experience
- Familiarity with California Regional Centers, SLS, ILS or TDS
- Experience recruiting, training or supervising direct-care staff
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Business or a related field
