Job Summary
Area Superintendent for the Combined Cycle portion on a major Bechtel project. Supervises craft activities, subordinates, and other personnel; plans and reviews work; ensures adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinates workforce requirements; manages field material requisitions; enforces safety and quality standards; interprets engineering design documents; collaborates with construction field engineers, foremen, and craft professionals; supports client relations and commercial recovery processes; requires strong leadership and teamwork, with extended work schedules as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical disciplines from an accredited university (or international equivalent)
- minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience; or 14+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in field supervision of direct hire union workers
