Job Summary
Area Field Manager responsible for promoting the U-Haul brand and educating independent business partners and dealers about U-Haul ownership advantages; manage, train, and grow dealership relationships within a designated route; oversee route profitability and service/maintenance of equipment; coordinate with support staff and U-Haul University for ongoing education; ensure operational excellence and marketability of equipment and displays; comply with safety and nicotine-use policies; requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to obtain a DOT health certificate; work primarily in the field with potential travel within the route; strong emphasis on business development, relationship building, and route management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- ability to maintain a good driving record to operate commercial motor vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a D.O.T. health certificate from a federally registered medical examiner
