Job Summary
Area Director to direct the regional activities of Supported Living and Day Services, overseeing financial management, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, program development, and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include budget management, staffing needs and performance reviews, Mandt and SAT training involvement, adherence to CARF/Medicaid waivers and Benchmark procedures, pursuing referrals and program expansion, leading meetings and committees, quality assurance activities (home visits, file reviews, outcome measures), and maintaining relationships with case managers, families, auditors, and government officials. Requires strong leadership, financial oversight, regulatory knowledge, and ability to mentor directors; position supports advancement opportunities within Benchmark's regional operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years progressive management experience in human services; experience working with people with developmental disabilities in residential settings
- Bachelor's degree/master’s degree and 5 years' experience or 10 years' experience required; master's degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid auto insurance
