Job Summary
Area Director oversees field-based operational leadership across assigned programs (e.g., group homes/residential settings, host home, day services) with regular travel to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include comprehensive service delivery oversight, client care and plan execution, environmental and program assessments, onboarding/training/development of staff, staffing and workforce management, cross-department collaboration, care coordination, documentation compliance, incident management, financial oversight of client funds, regulatory surveys and readiness, authorizations/service utilization, and ongoing stakeholder communication. The role requires ensuring health and safety, maintaining regulatory and organizational standards, and driving operational excellence while coordinating with service coordinators, healthcare partners, and internal/external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field required (per market requirements)
