Job Summary
Area Director of Operations for Long Term Care overseeing multiple facilities in Texas. Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal nursing facility regulations, and implementing company policies. Travels 4–5 days a week within assigned territory to mentor Administrators, troubleshoot management/resident/family concerns, and travel as needed. Leads operational and financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, census growth, and marketing collaboration. Manages departments to meet regulatory standards, supervises staffing and scheduling, oversees accounts payable/receivable, and coordinates improvement initiatives. Requires strong leadership, restorative care philosophy, excellent communication and organizational skills, and deep knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations. Travel-extensive role with travel to assigned facilities, plus responsibilities for quality assurance, safety, risk management, and resident satisfaction across the region. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university
- current, unrestricted licensure as a Texas Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator
- 3-5 years progressive experience managing multiple facilities
- equivalent combination of education and experience
