Job Summary
Hire, train, supervise, counsel, and motivate housekeeping staff across multiple locations while overseeing daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling within a set department budget. Inspect work to ensure quality and cleanliness meet brand standards, greet and assist guests to build loyalty, and collaborate with Maintenance and Front Desk to maintain high customer satisfaction. Ensure safe working practices are followed, maximize productivity by identifying and solving problems, and handle complex information from various sources. Attend required meetings, trainings, and M.O.D. coverage as needed. This role requires at least three years of progressive hotel experience, supervisory skills, and the ability to work long hours. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 4-year college degree
- 1 year of related experience
- Supervisory experience
- Long hours
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Ability to listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
