Job Summary
Oversee financial operations for three Florida Keys resorts (Isla Bella Beach Resort, Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort, Havana Cabana) with a hands-on finance leadership approach. Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and business decision-making; provide financial analysis, forecasting, and operational recommendations to maximize profitability; supervise daily accounting activities including payroll, AP/AR, GL, and reconciliations; lead the monthly close and prepare GAAP/USALI-compliant financial statements and schedules; manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and capital planning; ensure compliance with licenses, permits, contracts, tax requirements, and internal controls; support audits and system improvements; hire, train, and develop accounting/finance staff; on-site, full-time role based in the Florida Keys (Marathon/Key West).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably within hospitality or resort operations
- Multi-property or hotel/resort finance experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, USALI, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis and controls
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial/accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
