Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of business development representatives through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management while developing territory-specific sales strategies to meet census growth and admission targets. Identify and cultivate referral sources via community engagement, physician relationship building, and facility partnerships, then analyze sales data and market trends to improve effectiveness. Provide regular field coaching, conduct joint sales calls, and ensure compliance with sales methodologies and regulatory requirements. Maintain continuity with existing partners while actively pursuing new market opportunities and collaborating with internal clinical and operational teams for seamless patient onboarding. Represent the company at community events and industry conferences to promote brand awareness. Requires valid driver's license, up to 75% travel, and 1+ years of healthcare sales leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in the healthcare service industry
- 1+ years of healthcare sales leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead teams, exceed sales quotas, and build lasting referral partnerships
- Experience using CRM systems, referral tracking software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to travel routinely within the area to conduct field visits, training, and partner development (up to 75%)
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in Hospice, Home Health, DME, Palliative Care, or Post-Acute
- Prior experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB)
