Job Summary
Area Director - DD/IDD Services overseeing programs in the Lafayette, IN area. You will lead and manage program directors and support staff, provide leadership and strategic direction, handle budget management, licensing, policy development, marketing, and proposal preparation, ensure compliance with licensure and contract requirements, supervise program development and staff training, and expand business opportunities. Required skills include leadership, decision making, organization/time management, problem-solving, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset; strong communication with staff, families, and external stakeholders. Nice-to-haves include QIDP, PMP/CPM certifications, and data-driven performance management experience. Travel and collaboration with state management and local workgroups are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a related field
- 2+ years of supervisory (mid-to-upper management) experience
- 5 years experience in residential programs or services for individuals with disabilities
- Multi-site or multi-state management experience
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements
