Area Customer Manager

Job Summary
Drive BNPL GMV, retention, and revenue growth across the assigned territory while executing customer acquisition strategies and identifying white space opportunities. Manage relationships with distributors and key accounts, enforce credit policies, and monitor outstanding balances to maintain service levels and minimize risk. Supervise field sales officers and recovery agents, ensuring daily execution of route plans and productivity targets. Coach teams to improve sales effectiveness, track area-level KPIs, and submit performance reports to the Regional Customer Manager. Collaborate with Credit, Operations, and Finance teams to support new product rollouts and provide market intelligence for regional decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 5–8 years' experience in open market sales, customer management, distribution, or FMCG/fintech operations
- Proven experience managing FMCG distributors, field teams, or large customer portfolios
- Strong understanding of credit management and collections
- Experience working in fast-paced, target-driven environments
