Job Summary
Provide coverage in all aspects of branch banking, including customer transactions, servicing needs, and resolving issues. Process transactions accurately while maintaining cash controls and balancing daily logs. Educate customers on deposits, loans, and technology optimization for online, mobile, and ATM banking. Refer customers to other banking areas as needed and support colleagues in branches to ensure seamless experiences. Travel between multiple branch locations throughout the week with reliable transportation. Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies. This role serves as a financial concierge for walk-in customers, helping them achieve financial goals within a welcoming team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year customer service and branch banking experience
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to travel between local branches
- Must be adaptable to work in different locations that can change daily
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to effectively resolve customer issues
- Must have strong comfort level with technology
- Must be able to educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking)
- Must adhere to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures
- Must be able to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Must be able to maintain proper cash controls and balance daily
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to identify financial goals and needs and recommend appropriate deposit, loan and other banking products and services
- Must be able to refer customers to other areas of the bank, as needed
- Must be able to provide advice and guidance helping people along their financial journey
- Must be able to support colleagues in a branch helping to provide consistent and seamless experiences
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
