Job Summary
Manage daily operations of assigned residence halls serving 450-500 students and supervise, train, and evaluate approximately 20 Resident Assistants. Promote student success through community development, educational programming, and engagement initiatives while addressing student concerns and facilitating conflict resolution. Assist with student conduct processes, behavioral interventions, and housing operations including room assignments and occupancy management. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies and crises. Collaborate with campus partners to enhance the residential experience and serve on university committees. Contribute to summer operations, orientation programs, and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with college students in residence life, student affairs, or leadership setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations and work collaboratively with diverse populations
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet university driving requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience supervising student staff
- Knowledge of student development theory, residential education, and conduct administration
