Job Summary
Lead, develop and manage associate veterinarians across Banfield hospitals to ensure delivery of quality, evidence-based veterinary care aligned with six domains of quality. Provide medical leadership, drive hospital performance metrics and clinical standards, oversee talent engagement and retention, partner with Practice Manager to recruit and develop veterinary talent, and act as a brand ambassador to the local veterinary community. This is a 100% hospital-based, working-manager role with responsibilities spanning clinical oversight, medical record reviews, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning to meet KPI targets across assigned hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent foreign degree
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure
- 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- DEA license within 3 months of employment
- USDA accreditation within 3 months of employment
