The Area Chief of Staff leads, develops, and manages associate veterinarians to ensure quality care and performance in Banfield hospitals. Responsibilities include providing effective medical leadership, overseeing coaching programs for newly hired veterinarians, partnering with the Practice Manager to enhance hospital operations, ensuring compliance with clinical essentials and veterinary standards, and managing the veterinary talent pipeline. This role emphasizes maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment, driving a strong culture of quality care, and ensuring pet safety through adherence to medical and ethical standards.

Desired Qualifications

- Must obtain state-controlled substance and federal DEA license within 3 months of employment
- Accredited by the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service within 3 months of employment
