Job Summary
Engage Allergy/Immunology and Otolaryngology customers within an assigned geographical territory to introduce, launch, grow brand-share, and revenue for atopic dermatitis, asthma, and nasal polyp indications. Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, and Market Access teammates to address customer needs, identify market trends, and develop strategies supporting brand objectives. Develop strong relationships with Allergy experts, biologic coordinators, office staff, and patient advocacy groups while driving results through strategic business plans and local promotional speaker programs. Maximize budget allocated to the territory to support strategy execution and generate overall product results. Own business opportunities within the geographic area, including coordination and calling on large group practices and key targets to drive industry-leading customer value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or relevant professional business or healthcare-related experience
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
- Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary - additional travel may be required within the assigned territory
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable (or office administered IV) biologics in a complex and competitive market
- 2+ years selling experience in asthma or nasal polyps or other immunology disorders such as psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, crohn's disease, or ulcerative colitis
- 2+ years selling experience calling on Allergists or Otolaryngologists (ENTs)
- Launch experience in specialty care and biologics
- Alliance/matrix partnership experience
- Demonstrate advanced clinically based selling skills
- Results oriented with a proven track record of success with product launches
- Experience with in-servicing and training office staff, nurses and office managers
- Demonstrate a passion and learning aptitude for science and is proactive in strengthening knowledge related to disease-state, treatment options and healthcare trends
- Highly organized with strong account management skills
