Job Summary
Schedule and facilitate ARD meetings virtually, coordinating with remote diagnosticians and specialists to ensure comprehensive understanding of student needs. Maintain meticulous records and prepare all ARD documentation within digital systems while adhering to federal, state, and local special education regulations. Foster customer-driven virtual interactions with parents, teachers, and administrators, utilizing proficiency in Google Workspace and various communication platforms. Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines within a remote work structure, maintaining consistent punctuality for all appointments.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of special education teaching experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of special education rules and regulations relevant to a virtual learning environment
- Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely
- Strong virtual team-building and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data effectively in a remote context
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
- Residency in the state of Texas is required
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
- A valid Texas Special Education certificate without restrictions
