Job Summary

Archives Intern in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Research Department. The role involves archiving responsibilities such as arrangement, preservation, and description of textual and audiovisual materials; conducting inventories; cataloging and scanning documents and photographs; and performing other duties related to the Bank's archival collections. This onsite, part-time internship supports the Archives at the Boston Fed, which documents the Bank's history from the 1860s to the present and serves staff and researchers. Compensation ranges from $18 to $36 per hour, adjusted by undergraduate/graduate standing and relevant experience. The program targets current students or recent graduates in archives management or public history programs, with emphasis on organization and attention to detail; experience with audiovisual materials is preferred.
