Job Summary
Architecture Project Manager – K-12 leads the planning, design, and delivery of educational facility projects in the Lawrenceville, GA area, managing multiple school projects from programming and schematic design through construction documents and administration. Acts as the primary liaison between school district clients, internal design teams, and external engineering consultants (MEP, structural, civil, landscape). Oversees project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting; ensures quality control, code compliance, ADA requirements, and educational facility standards; provides construction administration support (RFIs, submittals, site visits, contractor coordination). Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and 5+ years of architectural experience with 3–5 years in project management; preferred licensure (Registered Architect) and familiarity with Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build; proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. On-site: Office-based in Lawrenceville with periodic travel to school project sites and district meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of architectural experience
- 3–5 years of specific experience in project management
- Demonstrated experience managing K-12 educational facility projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and educational facility guidelines
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
