Job Summary
Manage architectural projects from design through construction by developing scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and consultants. Support project delivery across all phases, including design development, documentation, and construction administration, by assisting with drawings, reports, specifications, and QA/QC reviews. Maintain client relationships through responsive communication, lead targeted business development initiatives, and conduct annual staff reviews. Participate in site observations, respond to RFIs, and review submittals during construction, with periodic travel to project sites and client meetings. Contribute to improved workflows, tools, and design practices while representing the firm professionally in all activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Certification as a licensed professional
- Expert knowledge of leading a successful Architecture Practice
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical and professional skills
- Must be able to listen and communicate effectively
- Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees
- Must be able to perform work-related travel
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be local to GMC office
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
