Job Summary
Manage architectural projects from design through construction by applying firm standards to meet client expectations and regulatory guidelines. Support project delivery by developing scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and consultants. Maintain client communication and manage day-to-day activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and preparing drawings, reports, and specifications. Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance and identify potential risks. Lead targeted business development initiatives to engage new clients and nurture existing relationships. Mentor junior staff and collaborate across disciplines to leverage collective expertise. Represent the firm professionally in all activities, including periodic travel to project sites and client meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Certification as a licensed professional
- Expert knowledge of leading a successful Architecture Practice
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical and professional skills
- Must be able to listen and communicate effectively
- Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees
- Must be able to perform work-related travel
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be local to GMC office
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
