Job Summary
Research technical literature on communications and radar systems to inform DSP architecture design. Write Matlab/Python simulators to evaluate performance and generate material/presentations for internal and external customer discussions. Propose efficient coherent DSP solutions for LiDAR/Radar and translate customer requirements into concrete design decisions. Use, maintain, and modify in-house C++ simulators while modeling coherent systems at varying levels of detail. Define, implement, and execute functional verification and validation of the design, then present and defend your results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 1+ year of work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to theories, principles and concepts of signal processing and/or digital communications
- Good theoretical background on signal theory, and digital signal processing
- Good background on physics and mathematics
- Experience using Matlab/Python for system level simulations
