Job Summary
Architectural Technologist to translate renovation requests and site measurements into technical drawings and 3D renderings, revise drawings as scope changes, produce pre-production renderings, and prepare Building and Development Permit applications. Collaborates with design and production teams to deliver thoughtful, accurate designs for residential transformations; emphasizes compliance with building codes, attention to detail, and ongoing alignment with project managers and designers.
Required Qualifications
- Technical certification in Architectural Technologies from a recognized institution
- 2+ years of design and drafting experience (an asset)
- Proficiency with Chief Architect software an asset
- Experience collaborating with designers and project managers and incorporating multiple streams of feedback into finalized designs
- Previous customer-facing experience and site measurement experience (an asset)
