Job Summary
Architectural Technologist with 3+ years of experience in high end custom residential projects in Metro Vancouver will focus on producing permit and construction documentation, coordinating consultants across structural, mechanical, civil, landscape, and specialty teams, and ensuring approvals and construction progress efficiently. The role requires strong Revit skills, thorough knowledge of BCBC and VBBL, and the ability to develop highly coordinated construction documentation, review municipal requirements, and maintain drawing quality and compliance through permitting, tendering, and construction phases. Collaboration with project leads, consultants, builders, and clients is essential, as is independent work discipline and meticulous attention to detail across multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent experience working on high end custom residential projects in Metro Vancouver
- Strong Revit proficiency with experience producing permit and construction documentation
- Thorough understanding of BCBC, VBBL, local zoning bylaws, and municipal approval processes
- Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills
- Experience coordinating consultants and resolving technical project challenges
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
