Job Summary
Architectural Technologist role in British Columbia (Okanagan region relocation) focusing on producing and coordinating design development and construction documents. You will generate architectural drawings and models in Revit, coordinate documentation with consultants, perform building code and bylaw analyses, support permit submissions and tender packages, participate in drawing reviews and quality control, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and support contract administration and technical coordination to deliver commercial, civic, educational, and community projects. A diploma in architectural technology or a bachelor of architecture plus 3+ years in practice, strong Revit/BIM skills, knowledge of codes, and excellent communication are required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Bachelor of Architecture
- 3+ years of experience within an architectural practice
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows
- Working knowledge of building codes and construction systems
- Experience producing Construction Documents and coordinating consultant information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Interest in working across commercial, civic, institutional, educational, and community based projects
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver's license
- Open to relocating to British Columbia's Okanagan region
