Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create high-quality metal parts and products. Set up and operate sheet metal fabricating machines, including shears, CNC Press Brakes, and folding machines, while using hand and power tools to shape, cut, and bend metal sheets. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to customer specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge of metalworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
