Job Summary

Develop competitive fee structures, manage project schedules, and oversee project completion within budget while anticipating and managing client expectations. Lead staff by identifying roles, providing mentorship, and facilitating open dialogue regarding design and technical ideation. Oversee administration of construction procedures, documentation, and quality assurance processes, while driving coordination of internal staff, external consultants, and stakeholders. Develop effective project directives, strategies, and phasing plans to resolve technical challenges and apply appropriate industry standards and codes. Manage client relations, actively explore new business opportunities, and present to stakeholders. This role requires 12+ years of commercial architecture experience, including large-scale data center projects, with a professional NAAB-accredited degree. Full-time on-site attendance in New York City is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional, NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial architecture, ideally with Data Center experience
  • Experience managing large teams on large-scale projects
  • Professional registration
  • High commitment to QA/QC
  • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
  • Acumen for how things are built and constructibility, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
  • Experience managing a variety of consultants and contractors
  • Proficiency or experience with managing overall project fees and schedules
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading project teams and ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment
  • Exhibit strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities
  • Display strengths in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence
  • Strong and effective organizational and communication skills
  • Confident presentation ability
  • Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • This role is an in-office position
  • This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance
