Job Summary

Develop competitive fee structures and establish project schedules to oversee completion within budget and client expectations. Lead staff by identifying roles, providing mentorship, and facilitating open dialogue on design and technical ideation. Oversee administration of construction phase procedures, including shop drawings, submittals, and addenda, while driving coordination of internal staff, external consultants, and stakeholders. Manage client relations, resolve technical challenges, and apply industry standards to ensure quality assurance of project documents. Actively explore new business opportunities through professional networks and present project updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional, NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial architecture, ideally with Data Center experience
  • Experience managing large teams on large-scale projects
  • Professional registration
  • High commitment to QA/QC
  • Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
  • Acumen for how things are built and constructibility, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
  • Experience managing a variety of consultants and contractors
  • Proficiency or experience with managing overall project fees and schedules
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading project teams and ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment
  • Exhibit strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities
  • Display strengths in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence
  • Strong and effective organizational and communication skills
  • Confident presentation ability
  • Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • This role is an in-office position
  • This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance
