Job Summary
Lead conceptual design, form development, and architectural vision for prominent multifamily and mixed-use urban developments. Generate sophisticated site yield studies and massing models; drive schematic design from programming through early design phases. Produce high-quality 3D models, photorealistic renderings, and persuasive design presentations using SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Architects, and consultants to integrate design intent with engineering and construction requirements; navigate regulatory frameworks and CBC compliance. Mentor junior designers, contribute to a studio-wide culture of design excellence, and communicate design narratives to firm leadership, agencies, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- 6–10 years of professional architectural experience
- 3–5+ years of U.S.-based multifamily mid-rise design experience
- Advanced command of SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating multifamily project work (PDF, max 10MB)
- Working knowledge of construction systems and ability to develop concepts compliant with building typologies
- Active California Architect license, or progress toward California licensure (preferred)
