Job Summary
Architectural Sales Engineer who leads long-cycle, specification-driven sales for landmark landscape architectural projects. Influence architects and landscape architects to specify our modular systems (planters, fire/water features, integrated seating, lighting, and guardrails) in design documents, coordinating with internal Design Development, CAD, Estimating, and Project Management teams to ensure our solutions remain the Basis of Design from concept through final award. Manage relationships within the architect–GC–subcontractor triad, oversee take-offs, pricing reviews, and design-development collaboration, deliver educational sessions (Lunch & Learn), and drive toward monthly and quarterly revenue targets across a 12–24 month sales cycle. Proficient in reading architectural drawings, understanding wind/IBC/load requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to integrate lighting, audio, seating, and guardrails into modular systems. Remote-capable with preference for candidates in major metros (CA, FL, TX) and travel up to 25% for site visits and client consultations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in architectural product sales, landscape architectural products, site furnishings, building envelope systems, structural systems, architectural metals, or related construction products
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
- Technical literacy with load-bearing systems or structurally attached products
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite)
- Experience working across full building lifecycle (design → bid → award)
- Demonstrated ability to lead landmark projects and maintain communication with architectural and GC networks
- LEED Accreditation (preferred)
- AIA CEU presentations (preferred)
- PMP Certification (preferred)
