Job Summary
Review construction documents for constructability and conformance with standards, and aid in reviewing submittals and RFIs. Assist in creating new standards items and document design and construction protocols. Coordinate with third-party consultants for quality control reviews and field testing. Attend project kick-off meetings and virtually participate in pre-installation conferences to review standards-related items. Advise project teams in a collaborative manner on construction administration tasks. Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accurate documentation. This role supports Architecture and Construction teams at the Dallas office, with a focus on multi-family new construction and renovation projects within tax-credit housing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Experience supporting construction administration within an architecture, engineering, or construction environment, including collaboration with internal teams and external consultants
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and navigate construction documents across multiple disciplines
- Ability to develop and communicate rough detail sketches for integration into Revit models
- Proficiency with industry-standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Bluebeam Revu and Procore or similar construction management platforms
- Strong communication skills — with the ability to effectively convey Owner standards and maintain professionalism in complex or high-stakes situations
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accurate documentation
Desired Qualifications
- CSI Construction Contract Administration (CCCA) certification preferred
- Experience working with housing agencies, familiarity with tax credit housing and multi-family new construction and renovation projects preferred
