Job Summary
Architectural Project Technician with 4–6 years of experience in construction documentation working under a Project Architect/Project Manager to produce coordinated construction documents in Revit. Responsibilities include creating plans, sections, details, schedules and other drawing components, applying established codes and building systems, coordinating drawings with engineering disciplines and consultants, incorporating QA/QC comments and project team markups, supporting construction administration with drawing revisions and clarifications, and utilizing Bluebeam for plan review and collaboration. Proficiency in Revit is required; AutoCAD experience is preferred. Familiarity with wood frame, masonry veneer, and steel construction types, and with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and rendering tools (Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape, or V-Ray) is desired. Ability to independently measure and create existing condition drawings and to manage multiple tasks within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4–6 years of technical experience in an architectural or A/E firm
- Experience working under a Project Architect or Project Manager on multi-discipline teams
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Demonstrated competency in construction documentation and detailing
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and typical construction methods
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
