Job Summary
Lead architectural projects from design development through construction completion, managing submittals, RFIs, and regular site visits to ensure adherence to design intent. Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants while serving as the primary client contact for expectations, budgets, and schedules. Oversee construction document quality and apply deep understanding of building systems and NYC codes. Mentor junior staff to guide professional growth and ensure deliverable consistency. This role requires a licensed or licensure-pursuing architect with 8-10 years of "out of the ground" construction experience, preferably in data centers or mission critical facilities, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD. Based in Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid), the position offers a salary range of $125,000 to $175,000.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 8 to 10 years of experience focusing on ground up or out of the ground built projects
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, constructability, and NYC codes
- Expert level proficiency in Revit
- Expert level proficiency in AutoCAD
- Extensive experience in commercial architecture
- Experience within data centers or mission critical facilities
