Architectural Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage a national early childhood education client with 15 to 20 projects across various states by coordinating design, administrative, and technical efforts to ensure efficient execution. Prepare scope estimates, develop strategic plans, and act as the primary client liaison to deliver schedules, budgets, and proposals that meet firm profitability expectations. Produce project schedules, work plans, and budgets while overseeing design and construction documents, constructability reviews, and QA/QC support. Estimate design fees, handle change orders and invoices, and negotiate contract administration issues. Mentor project team members, collaborate with engineering consultants, and participate in business development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 8 or more years' experience
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
- Must be proficient in REVIT, AutoCad Architecture, and have the ability to annotate plans and details with Bluebeam Revu or a similar program
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Procore
- Proficient in project scheduling with MS Project or similar program
- Experienced in managing a team of three to ten people
- Participates in marketing and business development activities
Desired Qualifications
- A professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution and a licensed architect
- If licensed, maintains architectural licensure through completion of LUs as required
- If non-licensed, is actively seeking licensure, has NCARB membership and is working toward completing certification
