Job Summary
Architectural Project Manager responsible for acting as the primary client relationship lead for projects, guiding execution across all phases from programming through construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation. Responsibilities include coordinating design processes (programming, schematic and design development, documentation), leading cross-disciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, risk assessment and issue resolution with the PIC/legal team/client, conducting code and zoning analyses, facilitating project meetings and on-site reviews, mentoring staff, developing diverse talent, supporting business development, and ensuring QA/QC and adherence to company standards. Requires an accredited architecture degree (license strongly preferred), substantial hands-on experience across all design phases, proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD and related tools, and advanced knowledge of sustainability, building systems, codes, and project accounting. Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience
- Architectural Registration strongly preferred
- Experience: typically 8+ years
- Sustainable design accreditation preferred
- Strong knowledge of architectural building systems, QA/QC, codes, constructability, accessibility guidelines
- Experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and business development
