Job Summary
Architectural Professional II with 3-5 years of experience, expected to take on increasing responsibility in design and technical execution. Responsibilities include leading portions of the design development process, coordinating with engineering/construction/consultants, independently producing drawings/models/construction documents, participating in client meetings, researching materials and building systems, conducting quality checks, mentoring junior architectural staff, advocating for sustainable design, managing individual workstreams to support schedule and budget, and engaging in cross-disciplinary career development and internal training. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office required; strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program; 3-5 years of experience with a collaborative, design-driven practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an architectural firm
- Strong design development and technical documentation background
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials, and sustainable design practices
- Leadership and mentoring junior staff
- Ability to lead design efforts, manage project components, and collaborate in interdisciplinary environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to participate in client meetings and presentations
